Welcome to The Griffin Inn
Annmarie and her team look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful 16th century ccountry pub with rooms.
Choc-a-bloc with nick-nacks, nooks-and-crannies and invitingly cosy fireplaces – our olde-worlde pub is everything you love about the Great British pub.
Old brass, impossibly generous wine racks, and an abundance of nostalgic photos adorn the walls in the pub, and our thirteen bedrooms are also jam-packed with original features and fascinating quirks.
We’re nestled in the heart of East Sussex, overlooking the beautiful Ouse Valley (or Sussex Serengeti as the locals call it) in the chocolate-box village of Fletching. Our beautiful garden is Sussex’s best kept secret, offering eye-boggingly breath-taking views across the countryside and serious space to kick-back amongst nature.
Head Chef Rod cooks up a storm in the kitchen – turning out his impressive take on pub classics, and a dizzying array of delicious dishes. Well-cared for beers, ales, seasonal cocktails, and secret cellar wines pair perfectly.
Christmas is our time to shine, and boy do we -by glowing open fire, warm candle light, and a glorious festive atmosphere.
