In memory of Rose who died this week and with whom we have close family connections (Charles Pullan is married to Rose's daughter Lucy), we will be featuring several dishes from the latest River Cafe Cookbook from Thursday of this week.
Many of you will remember the two hugely popular River Cafe dinners we had at the Griffin some years ago with both Rose, and Ruth Rogers, in the kitchen.
Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers have had, and will continue to have, a huge influence on the Griffin menus and we have included their famous dishes below, within our Bar menu and A La Carte.
Starters:
Gambas crostini with chilli, garlic & parsley
Bruschetta with roast courgettes, chilli, feta cheese
Chicken liver & foie gras parfait, toasted brioche,
